A Hartlepool opticians is set to expand its offering to become a dedicated hearing hub, providing enhanced audiology services to customers.
Staff at Specsavers in Middleton Grange Shopping Centre offer a range of hearing services including, hearing tests, hearing aid fittings and ear wax removal – using the very latest in industry technology.
Heading up this side of the business is Yvonne Lycett, who has recently been appointed the role of audiology director.
Yvonne started her audiology career with Specsavers over eight years ago in Middlesbrough and is delighted to make the move to Hartlepool to take on the senior role, she will be joined by hearcare assistant Victoria Seyburn.
Yvonne said: ‘I’m delighted that the Hartlepool store will now be able to offer enhanced audiology and hearing services to local people and look forward to leading the team that will meet the hearing needs of the local community.
‘Now that Hartlepool has official ‘hearcare hub’ status, we can go that one step further with an enhanced offering of hearing services. Customers can expect to receive an exceptional level of customer service and choose from either high quality Private hearing aids or NHS hearing aids.’’
Customers must book appointments in advance, enabling the store to continue to manage social distancing, rigorous hygiene and personal protection measures which have always been in place. Use of PPE and thorough sanitisation regimes in line with NHS guidance continue to be of paramount importance to us.
These include restrictions on the number of customers allowed in store, strict social distancing, and card payments instead of cash where possible.
