With families across the UK facing stricter lockdown measures, online toy retailer Bargain Max recently launched a Halloween inspired competition for kids.
In what has been a spooky and creative competition for youngsters across the UK, Bargain Max has now announced the final 10 shortlisted entries, including Olivia from Seaham, County Durham.
The competition asked children across the UK to recreate their favourite Halloween character or film scene using toys around the home, as well using other materials to bring their vision to life. The competition saw more than 50 entries from all across the UK, with parents entering their children’s homemade creations via Facebook.
Samantha Woodhead from Seaham, County Durham entered their child Olivia’s (three years old) recreation of the Saw character.
The overall winner will be announced on Monday, October 26. First prize is a Bargain Max gift voucher worth £100.00, second place will receive a £50.00 Bargain Max voucher, and third place will receive one toy of choice from the website (up to the value of £25.00).
A spokesperson for Bargain Max says: “The quality and creativity of entries into our Halloween competition has been fantastic and it was really tough shortlisting the entries down to just 10!
“Thank you to everyone who entered, we had great fun seeing your recreations of Halloween classics! We hope our competition has brought families a bit of fun and has shown alternative ways we can all celebrate Halloween this year whilst staying safe at home.
