Residents in a Peterlee street came together to celebrate VE Day in style.
The social distancing rules in place during the coronavirus pandemic didn’t stop people living in Oxford Close enjoying the Bank Holiday Friday celebrations.
Every household in the street joined in the fun, taking part in quizzes, bingo, dancing and singing, as the nation marked 75 years since the end of World War II.
The residents decorated their houses with many dressing up in red, white and blue, while others wore 1940 dress.
