Emma Hume, Deputy Manager at HC-One’s Grampian Court care home in Peterlee, is being celebrated for her caring and thoughtful concern for her colleague’s health.

While demonstrating to the team at Grampian Court how to perform blood pressure and heart rate checks on Residents, Emma had concerns about the heart rate reading of fellow colleague, Jan Taylor.

Jan took her advice went for tests, which resulted in her having to undergo a procedure to have a stent fitted. The stent can help prevent serious issues for Jan’s health, which she may not have become aware of without the care and concern of Emma.
