Durham County Council libraries in Easington, Seaham and Peterlee will be hosting craft sessions to round off the half term holidays.

Finding something fun to do in the last days of the school break is now a little easier thanks to a series of craft sessions.

A free drop in craft session is open to all ages, all day, at Easington Colliery Library, on Thursday 30 May, from 10am to 4pm.

The creativity continues with an open craft session, costing £1, at Seaham Library, Friday, May 31, 2.30pm to 3.30pm, ages four to twelve.

A combined craft and face painting group will take place on Friday, May 31, at Peterlee Library at 10.30am to 12pm for ages two and over.

Cllr Joy Allen, Cabinet member for transformation, culture and tourism, said: “Our libraries are a great place for young people and families to get creative and have fun.”
