An evening of multi-cultural celebration is set to bring communities together this weekend.
Bollyhood Media, a Durham-based British-Asian not for profit organisation, has created Bolly Fusion 2017.
The evening of live entertainment, fine international buffet and family themed disco will take place at St Leonard’s School in Durham on Saturday, July 8.
Around 500 guests from all over the country are expected to attend and proceeds from the event will be used to support local social causes.
Roberta Blackman-Woods, MP for Durham City is set to attend as guest of honour.
Dr Bethapudi, Bollyhood Media said: “The evening is aimed at promoting multi-cultural interaction and strengthening community spirit.
“We are in greater need than ever for better cross-cultural understanding, dialogue and cohesiveness within our local communities and our event aims to do that.
“We are grateful to Durham County Council for their support.”
