North East training provider Springboard, who has a centre in Peterlee, is celebrating after being rated ‘Good’ in every area in their recent OFSTED Inspection.
Katie Bulmer Cooke, patron of Springboard, is pictured celebrating with Springboard learners. Katie said “Its great to see the hard work of Springboard recognised by OFSTED, and excellent for the North East to have such a well respected and successful training provider offering courses and learning for so many local people.
Springboard offers Apprenticeships and learning programmes for people of all backgrounds from their centre in Peterlee. Ofsted commented that the management of the apprenticeship programme is strong, that we collaborate with employers and they are involved in the design of the programme. They also commented on how having an apprentice in the workplace contributes to the development of the business.
Denise Wilson Trust Secretary said “OFSTED are rightly very rigorous in the way they examine the work of training providers to ensure they are providing the best possible opportunities for learners and employers so it is reassuring for ourselves and our clients that OFSTED found our services to be uniformly of high quality and consistently delivered. They particularly commented on how we meet the needs of the local community, how well learners progress and that we make English and maths a high priority for everyone.’
